Women.Life.Freedom

This collection is inspired by one of the biggest feminist movements, which started on September 22nd in Iran. A young woman named Mahsa Amini died while in Police custody, arrested for so called “improper Hijab”. Protesters, lead by women, took to the streets demanding justice and calling for an end to the regime. ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ has become the slogan of this feminist uprising. So far, Police have killed over 180 peaceful protesters to prove that they did not kill Mahsa Amini.

On October 1st, Iranians all over the world gathered in more than 150 cities to show their support.

Photos were taken in Toronto where over 50,000 people marched in the streets in solidarity with the people in Iran and demanding the global community to stand with Iranians against the Dictator Regime.
